We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from our users. Basecamp operates without user tracking or personal data profiling.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect limited, anonymous usage data only during your initial setup and onboarding process. This helps us improve the user experience and understand how users discover and set up Basecamp.

The data collected is limited to basic onboarding interactions and preferences. No personally identifiable information, job details, employment history, or documents are collected. No analytics data is collected during your regular use of the service after onboarding.

Data Security

All content you create within Basecamp is processed securely. Any AI-based text generation or analysis is handled through encrypted connections with our providers. No personal data or content is transmitted to our own servers. Data stored in your workspace remains local to your browser or within your connected iCloud, depending on your settings.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect all processing that occurs through the service. However, as no system is completely secure, we recommend maintaining strong device and account security practices.

Device and Browser Permissions

Basecamp may request access to your browser's storage or microphone for specific interview simulation or note-taking features. These permissions are used only for functionality you explicitly choose and are never used to collect personal data.

Data Retention

Any data generated while using Basecamp (such as notes, responses, or interview plans) is stored locally in your browser or iCloud and remains there until you delete it. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser storage or iCloud files.

Third-Party Services

Basecamp uses Google Firebase for anonymous analytics during onboarding only. We may also integrate third-party services for secure hosting or AI processing. These providers have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data. Since Basecamp stores data locally or in your iCloud, you can access, modify, or delete it directly from your device or cloud storage. We do not have access to your personal data and cannot recover deleted information.

Children's Privacy

Basecamp is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect or store information from children under 13. If you believe we might have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
